Here we’d like to introduce if long time no use printer, how to do the printer maintenance, details as below:
Printer Maintenance
1. Clean the dust ink on the surface of the equipment.
2. Clean track and oil lead the screw oil (sewing machine oil or guide rail oil is recommended).
3. Printhead ink road maintenance.
If the equipment is not in use for 1-3 days, it can be maintained as usual. Cover the equipment with plastic or painting cloth to prevent dust.
The printhead should be cleaned when the equipment is not in use for 7-10 days
1. Turn off the machine and pull off the damper from the printhead, use syringe to absorb the clean cleaning fluid and insert on the head connector. Pay attention to the intensity is not too big, just can spray out cleaning fluid ok, clean the head again with the cleaning liquid after syringe cleaning liquid used up, one color operate two times.
2. Insert the damper back to the printhead.
3. Clean the bottom plate of carriage, printing platform and ink stackwith non-woven cloth or cotton swabs.
4. Pour the cleaning liquid into cap, move the head to the ink stack to protect head, in case ink drying.
5. Clean up the sundries on the equipment, unplug the power line, and cover the whole equipment with painting cloth or packaging film.
Industrial Printhead Users
1. Use syringe to absorb the clean cleaning fluid and insert into the filfer on the head to clean the head. Pay attention to the intensity is not too big, just can spray out cleaning fluid ok, clean the head again with the cleaning liquid after syringe cleaning liquid used up, until the cleaning fluid from the head is not doped color.
2. Plug the filter on the head with the plug to prevent dust from falling into the head.
3. Use EPE pearl cotton board resistant to corrosion of cleaning fluid, put the non-woven cloth on the pearl cotton, pour the cleaning fluid and wet it, then put the nozzle on the non-woven cloth to keep the surface of the nozzle wet.
If the equipment is not used for more than 15 days, the pipe shall be cleaned in addition to the printhead.
Details as below
1. Take out the ink tube from the ink box, pull off the three tee from the damper, and clean the ink tube with a syringe (note: the equipment will have an alarm for ink shortage after ink shortage in the secondary ink cartridge, which does not mean the ink is all out, need to eliminate alarm, let the ink pump continue to pump the ink out of the pipe together). Wait until the syringe doesn’t draw out the ink.
2. Put the ink tube originally inserted in the ink box into the cleaning liquid box, and let the equipment automatically absorb ink until the machine does not alarm and then take out the ink tube. Use the syringe again to draw out the cleaning fluid and repeat the operation for 3 times.(note: do not put the ink tube into the ink box or cleaning fluid box after the last pumping of cleaning fluid).
3. Wrap the ink box and ink tube with plastic wrap.
In addition to the above maintenance, if necessary, the printhead can be removed and inject with special printhead protection fluid wrapped with plastic wrap.
Turn off machine and unplug the power line, shut down all related power.
Storage environment temperature of the machine cannot be lower than 5 ℃, better 14 ℃ above, temperature and humidity range 20-60%.
During machine idle period, please cover shield for the machines, to avoid dust pollution.
Please put the machine in a safe place to avoid due to rat infestations, pests and other abnormal loss causes damage to the machine.
Pay attention to the machine storage room fireproof, waterproof, anti-theft, etc, to avoid computer and RIP software of damage or loss.
